Again, this is a very popular question. The truth is – no. Favours are a special way for the bride and groom to thank their guests for being with them on their special day. They are not required and many couples actually prefer not to give favours. They have become more and more popular over the years and their look has changed also. Most favours consisted of a small container of almonds, truffles, or other confections but today’s favours are much more interesting! Some very popular items today include wine stoppers, coasters, packages of cocoa or coffee, candles, picture frames and place card holders. Currently, the only limitation is the couple’s imagination; favours can be found for almost any wedding theme and budget. Next week we take a look at some cost saving ideas for favours.

Have a great week!
